Weakness: Because of the fatality to both vampire and lycans hybrids will die instantly when wounded with silver. They can go into a coma like state and have the silver removed then come back but if not they will die right away. Besides this there is little you can do to kill them. Freeze, burn, shoot, blow up, hit with a trackter trailer, snap their necks, stab in the heart....they will heal. With the most severe wounds being healed in a matter of minutes, others in seconds. Decapitation can kill them as well but obliterating their bodies is a very hard thing to do.

Regarding the weaknesses, I saw a flaw regarding the use of silver. In the movie, the vampires are clearly not allergect to silver, because of scenes where they touch silver and show no signs of irritation what-so ever. Lycans, however are another story. When they touch silver, their skin begins to sizzle at the touch and smoke up. My point is, that perhaps this weakness is just a little too strict, and that there could be an alternative to it.
See, in Underworld: Evolution, when Selene is first attacked by Markus in the forest, Michael picks up the gun she drops and shoots him constantly, Markus showed no signs of dying at all from the attack, nor does he in a later scene when he is shot some more. My reason for believing that there were silver bullets in the guns were because the vampires were so used to using silver anyways, and I'm pretty sure Selene did not want to face another disgruntled lycan, incase one should come along (not counting the lycans faced in Tanis' monestary, or the ones that were created by William near the end).
In Michael's case, when he was bitten by Selene, he was close to dieing due to his lycan weakness, but the bite from Selene made him a hybrid at the last second, forcing his body to fight the SN rounds shot into him and helping him rejuvinate quicker, he also showed no signs of dieing when the three Death Dealers arrived to aid Viktor in battle against Michael near the end of the first movie. Again, let me stress that their guns were also more than likely filled with Silver Hollowpoint bullets.
In conclusion to this, I believe that there can be an alternative to their weaknesses and I have such an alternative that I hope you can think over.
For the Lycan-Vampire Hybrids, I believe that silver can be their weakness, but unlike Lycans, they need to be shot with much more silver in order for it to even take effect. Like how it would with William. A single clip of silver bullets probably wouldn't kill him, but would severly weaken him none the less. Same should be applied with hybrids, and that one SN round would be enough to at least weaken a hybrid and a few would severely weaken them to the point that a vampire could handle one in combat easily, which could make it fair game, and still give both species an even chance if the opportunity was given.
As for Vampire-Lycan Hybrids, since Markus never really attacked in broad sunlight, only near-dawn, he would probably be a bit more resistant to sunlight, but still weakened by it, meaning sunlight and at least one UV round would be enough to weaken a hybrid like him, and just a few more rounds would either severly weaken a V-L Hybrid with the same results as the above idea for an L-V Hybrid. Furthermore, it could be safe to say that just being out in sunlight could weaken, but not kill a V-L Hybrid, but probably give it severe heat stroke if it remains out there long enough, but the wings provide enough protection to keep this from happening, were a V-L hybrid to manage to find a place to rest for the day without being disturbed.
I really hope you take my idea into consideration and hope we can discuss this further.
